Peacocks invaded Banks in Lancasher on Saturday.

The towns people had to protect their homes from these birds after they over-ran the estate. There were a total group of 12 peacocks that invaded, eating all the fruit and vegetables that people had in their gardens, leaving droppings all over and destroying flower beds. They don't know why the peacocks attacked the village but this isn't the only invasion Banks has had. They also had a over run of chickens which were sorted out just weeks before the peacocks.
They even stopped traffic as they just stood in the middle of the road squawking. The villagers have complained alot as they can hear this squawking and it keeps them up all night. Some have chased them away, with some unusual weapons. Someone used a water pistol and a duster!
