Susan Boyle - Movie Star

Scottish singer Susan Boyle is to make her big screen debut this Christmas.

She will appear opposite Les Miserables star Samantha Barks in period film, The Christmas Candle.

Based on a novella by US preacher and author Max Lucado, the film is set in an 1890s English village where blessed candles answer people's prayers.

Susan, currently filming on location, said: "It's very cold... I'm wearing long johns under my bustle."

It is not yet known what role Boyle will play in the film, but we can expect some familiar faces as Doctor Who and The Hobbit star, Sylvester McCoy also fathers in the film.

Regent Street Flooded!

London's busiest shopping street, Regent Street, remains under repair due to a burst water main causing huge flooding.

Regent Street was closed to traffic between Conduit Street and Piccadilly Circus and up to 15 shops were blocked off by firefighters trying to clean up the leak following a mass rupture near Vigo Street.

Engineers soon isolated the main and stopped the water flow

A BBC spokesman commented Saturday night that 'He was sorry for the disruption' and that 'The cause of the rupture is not yet known.'

The spokesman said traffic management would likely be in place for at least two days, but that businesses were expecting to open normally on Sunday.

"It looks like the road exploded," were a few comments made by passers by. Not only have Bus routes been diverted but the thousands of tourists that visit Regent Street each year have been disappointed by the disruption to their shopping sprees!

Titanic has a twin

The titanic has a twin. They are building a titanic two and it will be built in China.

Some people think it will take three years to finish. When it is built the titanic two will sail across the Atlantic Ocean like as a tribute to those who had built the original one.

Loads of people are not happy about the plan because through a relative of the original captain has said that it is a poor state.

There were more than 1,500 people that died on the titanic when it hit an iceberg on the 14 April  1912 and then sank  the following morning.
