Tom Daley Wins Another Gold Medal In Diving!

I'm sure we all know who Tom Daley is. But if you don't here is a bit about him..

Personal Information:
Tom Daley (born 21 May 1994) is an English diver who specialises in the 10 metre platform event and was the 2009 FINA World Champion in the individual event at the age of 15. He started diving at the age of seven and is a member of Plymouth Diving Club. He has made an impact in national and international competitions from age 9. He represented Great Britain at the 2008 Summer Olympics where he was Britain's youngest competitor, the youngest competitor of any nationality outside the sport of swimming, and the youngest to participate in a final.

Not so long ago, the young man himself Thomas Daley celebrated his 18th birthday, achieving another diving gold medal. What a great way to celebrate your 18th birthday!

The teenager then became platform champion at the European Diving Championships in Holland on Sunday the 27th of May. The last of his dives picked up three perfect tens from the judges, meaning he finished a massive 50 points clear of second place. Last month, Tom was crowned the overall winner of the World Cup series. That, together with his European performance, shows Tom is on track for a gold medal this summer at the London 2012 Olympic Games.

Who knows.. This young man could go very far in the Olympics! We will have to wait and see...
