Before, London’s Shard skyscraper was the tallest ever building in Europe however there has been a new building built in Moscow , Russia that has beaten and taken the title from London Shard.
Developers of Mercury City said on Thursday that their new creation had officially topped the previous record set by London Shard with a magnificent 338 metres, London Shard’s height: 310 metres. So they have clearly beaten us by 28 metres!

In Moscow, their new creation, with a copper-coloured high-rise will be a mix of offices and homes. This work is set to be all completed early next year (2013). However, it also looks set to be overtaken by the Federation Tower also seen in Moscow which is set to hit an amazing 506 metres sometime next year.

Both of these buildings are truely spectacular and unique in their own way.
