In the note it says 'You Are Lucky. You have been personally selected to participate in our exciting new project. £1,000 is yours, to spend on something good.{Once that's sunk in, please turn over}

The millionaire is doing a test by handing out the envelopes to random people and seeing how they react. The reactions were varied, from shocked to simply delighted.

He has given away around £100,000 to random people. He gives each person 48 hours to reply, in order to get the £1000. He sometimes even add little 'treasure hunts' and hides invites in libraries and shops, then puts the clues on his Twitter account.
