Sydney (a famous Australian state) has recently broken it's own record for it's hottest day!
The previous record for Sydney's hottest day had been recorded in 1939 and now was broken last Friday with temperatures reaching a huge 45.8C. Residents and citizens scaled the beaches yet were advised to drink plenty of water in order to stay hydrated.However, this hot weather also caused MANY bush fires across the country and firefighters are still now trying to keep them under control.
