The clever student at Hogwarts school picked up almost one in five votes in a survey by a company and kids charity clubs.
Loads of school children have been asked to say what film heroes inspired them.
Emma Watson who played Hermione in the Harry Potter films beat characters like Matilda and Toy Story's Woody.
Charlie Bucket, the poor boy who wins a golden ticket to visit Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory. He came second in the awards.
He was also followed by one of Roald Dahl's creations: Matilda Wormwood, who was played by Mara Wilson.
Filmclubs Sam Wainstein said " Films can have an influence on the children behave and interact with loads of people around them."
" Characters that kids identify with tend to stay with them and the longest and positive behaviours can be learnt by watching fictional characters handle situation on - screen."
