50 year school reunion.

A group of friends beat odd as they sit to recreate a photo from 50 years ago.

From all over the world, 16 men flew to Portsmouth Grammar School so they could recreate a photo that was taken of them in 1962. They beat the odd of 256,000 to 1. Dr Phil White travelled from Canada to see his teammates. He said: "It was fabulous to see all the boys again. I hadn't seen about 95 per cent of them for 50 years.Obviously, everyone has aged but their personalities and characters are all still the same."

Dick Churm who flew from France was awarded his colours because he was too ill to play the last game. The team were all aged 17 or 18 when the picture was taken. They were also joined by 2 of the 3 coaches as the 3rd one died at 90 after having a stroke.
A group of school friends beat odds of more than 250,000-1 when they reunited after 50 years to recreate a rugby team photograph.
