Father’s Day!

Father's Day is a celebration honoring fathers and celebrating fatherhood, paternal bonds, and the influence of fathers in society. Many countries celebrate it on the third Sunday of June, but it is also celebrated widely on other days. Father's Day complements Mother's Day, a celebration that honors mothers and motherhood.

In the UK (2012), Father’s Day is on the 17^th of June. I’m sure many families today will be celebrating the day by taking their dads/husbands out for a day. For our family, we are taking my dad to a nice restaurant, 5 minutes from where we live to celebrate Father’s Day. We also bought him some nice stuff as well, like a card some chocolate and some beer. Just some nice things to give to him for being a loving and caring dad!
