7th Annual Dog Surfing Championship

People from across America went to California to watch dogs 'hang 10'.

The event drew in 100's of local citizens, as well as people from all over the world. Over 50 dogs arrived to compete in one of the most unique events of the year. They compete in 10 minute heats and the best two in each round go through. But to make it easier the dogs are spit into 3 groups -  long dogs, tandem dogs and small dogs.

The small dogs winners were returning champions, Michael Uy and his Australian Kelpie, Abbie. The duo have been surfing together for 5 years and this is the third year in a row that they have won the first prize trophey.
