The worlds rarest cat going to be saved!

The worlds most endangered species of cat looks like it is going to be saved thanks to a project launched in Spain.

The  Iberian Lynx used to live all over Spain and Portugal, but by 2005 their numbers went down to only around 150!

The decline was because a disease wiped out rabbits there pray so with nothing to eat, nearly the whole population of the Iberian Lynx died out.

Now over 100 of the cats are being bread in special centres, and are now getting released into the wild, for the first time!!!!!

There new home has been especially selected by experts so they can live happily ever after in there new home.
