New £5 Note To Be Designed
The Bank Of England have come up with a new design with Winston Churchill (former British Prime Minister). They have chosen him because he was a hero to the entire free world. The current person on the five pound note is Elizabeth Fry. She worked to improve conditions in prisons. A lot of historic faces are found on the back of the Bank Of England notes. The Bank Of England Governor has the final say to who gets picked to go on the back of the next five pound note.

Bombing At Boston Marathon
Two explosions went off yesterday at the finish line of the Boston Marathon, killing three people and leaving over one hundred and forty people injured.
President Barrack Obama said whoever was responsible for the attack will be found, he said "We will find out who did this and they will feel the full weight of justice."
Security has increased throughout Boston and every major city in the country.
Attacks like these are incredibly rare, the Boston Marathon is one of the biggest major marathons and security is very tight.
Around twenty three thousand runners took part this year, and the race is watched by thousands of people across the city. This came as a shock to many people across the globe.
Stories of heroism are beginning to emerge, over hundreds of runners that took part that survived the blast were phoning up local hospitals and offering blood to those that were in need. "People were sharing phones to make the offer- as many didn't take their phones to the race" said a British runner who finished before the initial blast.
Boston police are working around the clock to find out what happened. One person has been arrested in connection to the bombings and a police officer has been killed.
Security measures have been increased in London for the marathon coming soon.

Margaret Thatcher Dies At Age 87
Baroness Margaret Hilda Thatcher died earlier today from a stroke at the age of 87.
The first ever woman Prime Minister was born on the 13th October 1925 in Linconshire to Alfred Roberts and Beatrice Ethe. Even at a young age, Margaret Roberts was bound for Leadership as she was Head Girl at her primary, Huntingtower Road Primary School between 1942 and 1943, and she became
President of the Oxford University Conservative Association in 1946.
In 1951, Margaret Hilda Roberts became Margaret Hilda Thatcher as she got married to Denis Thatcher, and had 2 children named Carol Thatcher and Mark Thatcher, but sadly her husband died in 2003. Thatcher became the first ever female Prime Minister on the 4th May 1979. Arriving at 10 Downing Street, she said, in a paraphrase of the "Prayer of Saint Francis":
'Where there is discord, may we bring harmony. Where there is error, may
we bring truth. Where there is doubt, may we bring faith. And where
there is despair, may we bring hope'

Today, the 8th of April 2013, Margaret Thatcher died from a stroke, though her family says that her passing was peaceful. According to the government, Margaret Thatcher will receive a funeral similar to those of the Queen Mother, Elizabeth Angela Marguerite Bowes-Lyon, who died on the 30th of March 2002 aged 101, and of the Princess of Wales, Diana Frances, who died on
31 August 1997 in France aged just 36 when she was involved in a fatal car crash in a road tunnel, also killing her companion Dodi Fayed and the driver Henri Paul.
Thatcher was famous for the changes she made to Great Britain, both good and bad. She was commonly know as 'Maggie Thatcher,
Milk Snatcher' as she stopped free school milk in primary schools, and in the 1980's she started closing down coal mines, causing miners to strike in 1984.
There is a split decision on Margaret Thatcher, half of people love her and the other half hate her. But no matter what, she will always be known as the 'Iron Lady'.
