Devon Carrow who is from New York, America has sent a robot to school instead of himself. This is because Devon is too ill to go to school. The robot allows him to reply to teachers but also ask them questions and join in group sessions. The robot that he uses costs £3,000.
Devon has to stay at home because he has so many allergies and when he is with other children this could set them off.
It also has HD cameras so Devon can see his classroom clearly. Devons mum says its good so Devon is able to learn while at home. Also the robot has a desk.
