Schools have carried on trying to make their schools "safe" from inappropriate websites, but are they being too cautious? Some people think that schools shouldn't block the whole websites just the parts of it that are rude or not appropriate.
For example, Google Images, a site blocked in most schools, could just have the inappropriate images on the site blocked instead of the whole site. Also there are many sites that also have pictures which are fully blocked, when they could easily just block the pictures that they do not want pupils seeing.
I think that schools should block the inappropriate parts of websites so that students can still see most parts of their chosen website, this could make sure that pupils can get pictures or information that they need instead of searching for ages trying to find them. Also if students have been told they can play games after a lesson on computers and they are all blocked then what are they supposed to do?
In conclusion people should be able to search descent sites freely if they are in a computer room or on a computer with teacher permmission
