World’s largest chocolate bar made in Deryshire!

Thats right, this is the biggest chocolate bar

ever, Made by Thorntons!

This giant slab almost weighs six tonnes.

The reason why this

massive bar was made is that it was actually a

celebration for the company because it was 100th year birthday of Thorntons.

Over 50 staff has helped to create the sweet in a place in Deryshire.

The biggest every bar is four meters wide and long. Unfortunally the biggest EVER bar is going to be crushed up into smaller peices but on the bright side they are going to sell it to a special charity.

Volunteers spent 10 hours pouring buckets of

chocolate into the huge mould at a factory.

The idea came from one of the staff because there

favortie film is Charlie and the chocolate factory and they think the best bit is where a massive chocolate bar comes in and gets shrunken. The staff thought it would be great if they could do the reverse.

The weight was 5,827 kg and this beats the previous record set by a company in Chicago, America, in September.
