A poster has been designed where only kids can see a
message by a Spanish charity.
Have you kids ever wished that something was made
where only you can see it and not your parents? Well a Spanish charity has made
a unique poster where only kids can see a ‘secret’ message. This secret message
shows a helpline number which kids can use to call for any advice or help that
they need.
The poster has been designed as part of a campaign by
a company called the ‘Anar Foundation’, in an effort to tackle child abuse. So
the Spanish charity decided that it would be a good idea to produce a poster
which only children can fully see. The idea is that the kids could see a
helpline number so they could call for help if they needed it without adults
seeing the same message.
The clever poster uses a technique called ‘Lenticular
Printing’, which means that if you look at the product at a different angle, it
shows a different image. In this case if you are a child (small) you can see
the helpline number, however an adult wouldn’t be able to see the same image as
they are taller. If you are taller then you are looking at a different angle
than somebody who is smaller.
Lenticular Printing
is not only used to project different images depending on the angle of which
somebody is looking but it is also used to create 3D effects and make certain
things look animated.
