A new ride at Alton Towers theme park has been described
as "too scary" for children under 12.Im sure everyone has heard of the theme park, Alton Towers. A great family day out. Well it is opening on the Saturday 24th of March 2012 for the new term, and while it has been closed they have built 2 new attrractions for the park, one is called "Nemesis Sub-Terra" and the other is like a mini short cinema thing, it's called "Ice Age 4D." Those 2 new attractions will be up and running on the 24th March.
Well, It's the first time a theme park ride has been given an age rating by the
British Board of Film Classification, which normally gives ratings to
movies and games. But not this time...The Nemesis Sub-Terra ride, known to be the most scariest and most exciting ride Alton Towers has ever built - which runs completely in the dark!! AND ITS AN UNDERGROUND RIDE TOO, has been given a 12A age rating because they think that it is not suitable for kids under the age of 12.
It's only an advisory rating, but Alton Towers say they will stick to it. This could be a huge dissapointment for some....
