school bus terror
Dramatic footage has been released showing the INSIDE of a school bus as a tornado picks it up and throws it into a building.
The bus driver decided to turn around and head back to school for shelter when she spotted the twister.
Thankfully they reached safety just in time - minutes before the tornado came and tossed it into the air, smashing it into the front of a diner. I am glad that i wasn't in that diner at the time.
The powerful tornado wiped out the small town of Henryville in the US state of Indiana in March.

More girls join scouts!
For the first time in the Scout Association more girls are signing up than boys!
At the moment there are over 66,000 girl scouts in the UK. Including me!
Not only that but there has also been a rise in the number of Muslim young joining groups, with around 2,000 new members.
The Scout organisation has even launched a new uniform for the Muslim girls to wear, instead of the green shirts that i have to wear now. This was all after requests form some community leaders. They'll now be able to wear hoodies or t-shirt dresses to meetings.
Both new items are knee-length and are covered in bright graphics based on the different scout badgers.
These new clothes are available to all girl members of Scouts, so i will look at them.
In my opinion more girls are joining scouts because the do more adventure stuff as it tends to be boys. That's how i got pulled into joining scouts, and i recommend it to anyone that likes adventure!

Transformers 5 news!

Transformers five has been confirmed!
It's going to be a Paramount Pictures and Warner Brothers production.
Michael Bay only signed up to direct Transformers 4, so who will be directing 5?
Christopher Nolan, who directed The Dark Knight and Inception, both awesome films. So what's going to happen to Bay? Well he still wants to be involved, he's producing transformers 5.
Bay says "I've been a fan of Nolan's work for quite some time now and I've always wanted to work with him on a project. We're working closely together to make sure we're bringing the fans what they want. Nolan's vision will be a great addition to the Transformers franchise and bring all new life to the series."
Nolan says "I'm really excited for this project. I've been a fan of Bay's work since Pearl Harbor and I'm hoping that together we can take the story telling to a whole new level."
The only news about the plot is that it is going to be a sequel to Transformers 4.

Are school holidays to long?
Everyone looks forward to a bit of a break after a long term at school. Plans have being announced from Nottingham city council that the 6 weeks holidays will be shortend down to 4 weeks! Every kid will be dissapointed. Not only this but they're also thinking about splitting the school year into five terms.
Apparently the school holidays are too long and children from poorer families can fall behind because of the lengthy summer break. Some teachers in the city have been on strike because they don't agree with the changes.
I want to know your opinion,
Do you think that the school holidays are too long?
Perhaps you think that the big breaks take you out of the swing of the classroom and you should have more short breaks throughout the year?
Or maybe you think they should be longer!
