On Tuesday 5th June a nice, big community picnic is happening on Anston Recreation ground to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee. It starts at noon and finishes around 3pm.
You could bring your own Picnic, folding chairs and (most importantly) your family! Here are some thing you can experience

- You can also join in with the children's entertainer!
- You could even watch the colourful Three Shires clog team!
If the children wanted to get away from they're normal, everyday life and have a look on the youth bus (click HERE to go to they're website)!- Why not have a listen to the children's choir and the jazz band!
- If you and your family want to try something new then why not try balloon modelling!
- Or, if your new to the area or just want to have a bit of fun then why not take the walk through the woods!
- You could also compete in the Right Royal Quiz!
- Why not watch the Charity cricket match at Anston Cricket Club!
- Or you could have a free lesson on the bowling green!
- A face painter!
- And after a long day of fun then why not just sit down and enjoy a nice tea or coffee!
Just keep your fingers crossed for good weather!
