On Thursday 31st May 2012 two fishermen got more than they bargained for when the caught a giant shark. The two 'professionals' are claming it to be the biggest shark ever caught in Britain. The mammal was three metres long and probably weighed more than 200 kilograms. This massive shark is called a Porbeagle. The fearsome fish dragged the small boat along the sea for more than a mile in the hour-and-a-half long struggle off north Cornwall.
Soon after the shark was then tagged and released alive.
