The winner of Britains Got Talent 2012 is...... ASHLEIGH AND PUDSEY!!!
Britain's Got Talent is a British television talent show competition which started in June 2007. The show is broadcast on ITV. Any age with some sort of talent can audition. Acts will compete against each other in order to gain the audience support while trying to win the title of "The winner of Britain's Got Talent". Throughout the show, contestants must perform in front of the judges, and each year initial auditions have been held in front of a live audience. The judges for this year were: Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, and David Walliams.
The winner of each series is given the opportunity to perform at the Royal Variety Performance in front of members of the British Royal Family, including Queen Elizabeth II. The winners also win a prize of £500,000! The previous winners of Britains Got Talent from 2007 to 2012 are: Paul Potts, George Sampson, Diversity, Spelbound, Jai McDowall, and finally for 2012 Ashleigh and Pudsey!
The series was won by Ashleigh and Pudsey, a girl and her dancing dog. They were an extremely talented act, who act by act continued to impress all of the judges by their fabulous talent! Britians Got Talent 2012 had some great performances, here were the runners up for becoming The Winner Of Britains Got Talent 2012: Jonathan and Charlotte, (an opera & pop singing duo) and Only Boys Aloud, (a Welsh boys choir).
Overall Britains Got Talent has had one BIG talented year! It has been amazing, with ups and downs throughout it all! The judges can't wait to see what talent will arrive to them next year... We will just have to wait and see...
