Halloween Is On Its Way!

Halloween, also known as All Hallows' Eve, is a yearly holiday observed around the world on October 31st. Most scholars believe that All Hallows' Eve was originally influenced by western European harvest festivals and festivals of the dead with pagan roots.
Typical Halloween activities include trick-or-treating, attending costume parties, carving pumpkins into jack-o'-lanterns, lighting bonfires, apple bobbing, visiting haunted attractions, playing pranks, telling scary stories, and watching horror films.

We all know that next week is Halloween! Some of us maybe excited about going trick-or-treating this year for sweets/confectionary however there are people who don’t enjoy Halloween as much as us kids. We kids never miss out a chance to collect a bag of sweets by saying: “Trick-or-treat” as somebodies door step, and some of us may spend hours and hours out at night collecting the yummy treats for free.

But there are the people out there who hate Halloween. People may hate Halloween because they might dislike kids constantly arriving at their door every minute and disturbing what they are doing. But they may also not like it because they don’t believe that Halloween is something to celebrate/take part in as they think it is a waste of time or simply because of their religion/beliefs.

But what do you think? Do you like Halloween? And what are you doing this year to celebrate it?
