Tough Justice, Toddler in 'Cuffs

On tuesday 17th on April Salecia Johnson, aged 6 found out exactly how far teachers will go to have order in the class room, after throwing a tantrum in kindergarden (pre-school) the teacher had to resort to calling the police to restore order.

Salecia ripped work off walls, threw furniture and tipped a bookcase over, injuring the headteacher.

The police action has resulted in outrage from both families and child charity leaders who say its 'over-reacting' and that 'kids are being arrested for being kids'

In the past few years kids have been arrested in the past few years for minor offenses — including such things as having cellphones in class, burping, refusing to switch seats and destroying a history book. In 2010, a 14-year-old boy was arrested for inflating a condom in class.
