Temple Run is an endless action video game developed by the Raleigh-based Imangi Studios. The player takes on the role of an explorer attempting to steal an idol from a temple and being chased by "demonic monkeys". However this fascinating game is only available on iOS and Android systems.

Temple Run has been available to download from the App Store since August 2011. Many people are addicted to this amazing game and some just cannot get enough of it, trying and competing against each other to see who can get the highest score or the most amount of coins. While this game may not appeal to some people it sure does take the interest of most kids nowadays. The makers of Temple Run have newly released a new game similar to the current ‘Temple Run.’ Some of you Temple Run lovers may already know what the game is and have already set new high scores and unlocked many items and completed various objectives. But for those who have not yet heard of this new game, listen up! So as you know, the makers of Temple Run have released a new game. That new game is… Temple Run 2!

Temple Run 2, (the sequel of the original game) was released on the 17^th of January 2013 in the App Store for iOS but will also be released onto Android by the end of January 2013. The new Temple Run features the same kind of controls and plot as its predecessor but what makes this Temple Run more unique is that the makers have introduced some new obstacles including things like zip wires, mine tracks, sharper turns and flames of fire that you will experience throughout the game. The game is also set in a new location and the character moves at a faster pace. But also to add to the excitement, the new game features new power ups that will boost and help you along. Finally there is one last change to the game, before there were three monkeys that chased you from behind, however now on Temple Run 2, the three monkeys have been eliminated and have been replaced by a much larger and more ferocious monkey.

Some say that Temple Run 2 is much harder and takes a more skilled hand to keep up with the movements of the game. Personally (as I have experienced the new game) I think that it is slightly harder to play and ups the difficulty of the game.
