BBC Aplogize after Saville Spoof

The BBC have apologised after a Jimmy Saville spoof was shown on the Cbeebies Show, Tweenies where the character Max was dressed as Jimmy Saville. The episode was first broadcasted in 2001 and shown before 9am. The episode featured max in a blonde wig and his trademark tracksuit. It also included Saville`s famous catchphrase, "Now then guys and gals". The BBC said that they will not be repeating the episode and that they are very sorry for any offence caused.
