With the release date of Nintendo's eagerly anticipated home console, the Wii U, just one day away, online retailer Amazon seem to have jumped the gun after some customers received their console early. Delighted fans showed no hesitation in uploading snaps of their new television companion online. While some celebrate, others are faced with an agonising wait as stocks dwindle prior to the Christmas rush.
Obviously unclear of the imminent popularity of their news console, the Japanese giant have also unveiled a modified edition of the console that took the world by storm in 2006; come forth the Wii Mini. An exclusive to Canada as of yet, it is said to be the alternative for those who don't fancy the $300 receipt and nasty sting in the Christmas budget - or for the 3 people who don't actually have a Wii. This cheaper option features all of the original goodness, albeit online connectivity and the ability to play Gamecube titles.
