Parts of UK Flooded

Many people have had to leave their homes as there have been floods and hundreds of people have suffered from power cuts.

There were some areas that were badly affected. They were: Tayside, South-West England and East Anglia. Sadly a man died from the flood as he got stuck in his car when it got stuck under a bridge near Bristol. People in a hospice in Cumbria have had to be evacuated because a near by stream burst its bank and flooded. The water got into the hospices bedrooms and offices.

Car and ducks in floodwater in Evesham, WorcestershireForecasters have said that more rain is expected to be heading our way. However winds are causing problems as a roof was blown off a mosque, luckily no one was hurt. Asix meter wall fell and search dogs roamed about to see if anyone was trapped but thankfully no one was. Some roads have had to be closed and train lines have been closed due to the bad conditions.

There are more than 100 flood warnings across England, Wales and Scotland as of Friday morning.

Most of them are in South-West England and the Midlands.
