M&Ms

Milk Chocolate M&M'sI'm sure everyone knows what M&Ms are but for those of you who are unlucky enough to not have tasted the marvels of these colourful button chocolates all I can say is you will have to find out for yourself! There are no words expressive enough to describe these chocolately moments of pleasure. For those of you who are not that fond of chocolate there are all sorts of fillings such as milk chocolate, dark chocolate, crisped rice, mint chocolate, peanuts, almonds, orange chocolate, coconut, pretzel, wild cherry, cinnamon and peanut butter! There are also many colours of M&Ms. Below is the colour changes throughout the years...

They have grown massively, at the beginning they were only sold in the USA when they started in 1941 but they are now sold in over 100 countries!

I fact they are that big they even have their own 'spokescandies' which they have had since 1995!

The red one is the mascot for the milk chocolate M&Ms, the yellow one is the mascot for the peanut M&Ms, the blue one is the mascot for the almond M&Ms, the green (the only female) is the mascot for the peanut butter M&Ms and the orange one is the mascot for the pretzel M&Ms. The orange is the only mascot to have an official name 'Crispy'.

On January 30 2012, M&M's unveiled a new additional spokescandy, Ms. Brown (voice of Vanessa Williams,) featured in a Super Bowl XLVI advertisement. The Red M&M mistakes her as being without her shell coating because of her brown color. He later complains about her to the Yellow M&M but when he notices she's listening, pretends someone else was saying it and he was defending her.
